Dita looks just as uncomfortable, her tentacles doing a new sort of shimmy I haven’t seen in a long time. Not since she had her first big coding test.
I indicate the two people behind me. “Guys, this is, well, I—” I pull at the back of my neck. “Um, this is Suilius and Sharieen. They are Federation operatives. They are the reason for the malfunction, the one that made Kath walk into things.”
“He should be fine, by the way.” Suilius cuts in. “Ada told me about your concerns. There should be no damage to your teammate.”
I nod, “right, thanks. Um, so guys, they broke in, they wanted to know what was going on. And they want to help us. To get us away from Eugina. And whatever hell hole she is creating.”
