It is quiet back on base. Dita took Kathel to the infirmary to get his leg worked on. I had offered, but he just ignored me, and Miessa had already gone to take a shower. So, he begrudgingly took her offer. I took a quick shower as well and waited in the living room for Miessa. We needed to talk about what was going on. Miessa sighs when she sees me. “Really, you want to do this now? Can’t we just like take some time to lick our wounds from that test?”
I scrunch my face up in disgust. “I never liked that saying.” I shake my head. “Anyway, do you want to deal with him being a prick for the next month? Cause I don’t.”
