After the bar he had decided to follow Azreal back to King's house. He needed answers and if he was lying Vincent would just end him. Yes the other guy was an alpha he could sense it, but that didn't mean he was stronger then him. He couldn't smell a pack on him which probably meant he was a lone wolf or rogue either way he wouldn't be stronger them him.
Lycan's were pack animals and were stronger in packs then they were alone. If he's a lone wolf then he would be stronger then your average rogue, but he shouldn't be stronger then Vincent who was also an alpha and apart of a pack. He wouldn't hesitate to put him down if he found out that he was being lied to.
