Sebastian
I’ve made a lot of decisions this week and bringing a woman to my penthouse for s*x wasn’t supposed to be one of them.
But she’s made quite the impression. Acting weak and frail when she’s all fire and bite inside.
Can’t wait to unravel her, introduce her to herself.
Make her come on my tongue, like she did that night.
Fuck, she’s all I think about. I chuckle to myself, I should be taking a look at pack documents that require my signature but all that’s on my mind is a blue-eyed married woman.
I stand up from my leather chair, the dark confines of my office doing nothing to ease my worry since she fainted in my arms.
I make my way out of my office, taking the elevator to the 3rd floor where our rooms are. My phone begins to ring in my pocket as I roll up the sleeves of my white button down.
I pick on the second ring.
“Dr.Val”
“Mr.Vane. Congratulations, your wife is two weeks pregnant.”
What the f**k?
“I see.” Ever since I called Dr.Val for Sarafina she’s been thinking she’s my wife and I’m not even mad at that.
Like I was when a woman I met at a club told everyone I was her boyfriend. Stupid Omegas.
“How is She?” I say stepping out of the elevator and moving towards the bathroom to pee.
“Overall, she’s fine. Ensure you feed her properly now, and she gets enough rest. I just ran a final scan on her, she’ll be okay. I’ll be leaving now.”
“Thank you. I’ll have Tom escort you to the gates.” I hang up and do my business in the bathroom, washing my hands and I pause, noticing the dark circles underneath my amber eyes.
I haven’t been able to sleep properly since this rut started and the reason for it is just a few doors away from my room.
But I have to ease her into this. She’s going to be mine in every sense of the word very soon.
She may be pregnant for that jerk, but there’s also a possibility she’s carrying my child. I did sleep with her some weeks ago. I’ll have to run a test.
I make a mental note to call Dr.Val later, desperately wanting Sarafina in my arms.
I walk down the hallway to my room, opening the door and seeing an empty bed. The room smells faintly of her though, meaning she left not too long ago.
As I move toward my bed, I spot her drip on the floor.
“This woman.”
I walk to her room, which looks scattered, does she want to run away from me? She owes me. She belongs to me.
And if she hasn’t realized that yet, she sure as f**k certainly would when I make her come on my c**k.
Her scent, my new favourite thing, leads me downstairs. The kitchen precisely, but I could be wrong because she smells like pastries and they also make those in the kitchen. But I step in anyways.
“Sara— f**k!” Someone hits me on the head with what I assume is a vase. Blood everywhere. My eyes fall shut from the pain and I kneel to the floor. Footsteps running towards the door.
I chuckle to myself. She wants to play huh? I’ll give her a f*****g game.

Sarafina
Shit, s**t, shit
That was one smart and dumb move.
I run out the kitchen back door, and hide behind the gorgeous bougainvillea plant. Planning my escape through the large gates of the penthouse.
“Who the f**k needs so much guards?” I say panting. I remember the Apple I sneaked into my mini bag and fish it out as I plan.
Gosh, I should have stolen more fruits. The sweet taste of the apple hitting my mouth.
I turn when I hear a sound, as I notice all the guards share an expression. They split themselves searching for something. For me I assume, of course he told them. Bastard!
I notice their attention is divided and use that to my advantage.
Wait a second, if Sebastian isn’t here then he must be somewhere around. Could he be watching me?
I sit up from where I’m kneeling and take calculated steps away from the guards and when I feel I’m out of their vision. I try to make a run to the back of the penthouse.
Maybe I can escape from there.
Umphh I come in contact with a hard surface or rather
Sebastian f*****g Vane. This man must hate me.
I look up at his amber eyes, rubbing my nose in an attempt to soothe it from the impact of hitting a button on his shirt I think.
“Why do you want to leave? If you can just give me a solid answer to that question then I’ll let you go.”
Liar.
I put on my puppy face and try my best to appear downcast.
“Look, I have nowhere to go. My husband…well my ex-husband is with someone else and I don’t……”
The mask I prepared falls as I remember my predicament is worse than I thought. Tears start streaming down on their own.
I take steps back from Sebastian as I notice his hands stretched out to engulf me in a hug?
I need to be alone. He can’t see me cry. He’s an alpha who just wants to use me for his fever or whatever and I..
I try to move past him to enter the kitchen through the back door. He pulls me back to him with his hand on my wrist and hugs me.
“Come here.”
His voice breaks the dam inside me and I hide my face in his white shirt sobbing.
I sob for what feels like hours, before the tears stop streaming. I pull away slowly, my hands fisted in his shirt.
“I don’t need your pity. I’ll be fine. It’s most likely the pregnancy.”
Shit, I’m actually pregnant.
“Yeah, it could be. Take your time. I’ll be in my room if you need me. I don’t want to make you feel like someone you want to run away from.” He says a weird emotion in his voice.
I thought he’ll just drag me across his house, and to his room but he’s actually…
“Thank you. For giving me space.” I say with gratitude in my voice.
He gives a barely there nod and detaches himself from me like I’m filth or something.
He walks away from me and I should feel happy, but I’m not. It feels like he’s walking away with my heart.
There’s no way I feel this way. I ignore the feeling before it grows and pick up my bag from the floor before moving to the kitchen to find food.
“Good day Ma’am.” The chef, Madam T, announces her presence.
“Hello, Madam T. Anything for today? I know the pack dinner is an hour away but..”
“Ma’am, I’ve already prepared a tray of food for you. Alpha Sebastian said to place the food in your room ma’am. It has all the nutrients you’ll need for you and your baby.” She says with a huge smile on her face.
“Thank you Madam T.” I say, feeling teary. She reminds me of my mother.
I move to hug her, needing some form of affection right now. I clean my tears and break the hug, offering a smile to her before taking the elevator to my room.
I sigh when I get there, dropping my bag to the floor. Everything seems arranged better than how I left it.
Oh wow.
I look to my bed and indeed there’s a tray of food. Ranging from breakfast to dinner. I begin to salivate, then realize I’d sleep after so I might as well prepare a bath now.
I slip off my leggings slowly, all my actions now careful since I’m carrying a human inside me.
I walk to my bathroom mirror naked and stare at my stomach. No visible sign of a pregnancy. I’m going to have a baby, I 'm tearing up remembering my mother for the second time today.
My body feels heavier than usual as I step into the jasmine bath I prepared for myself. Everything feels like a task at this point. I scrub myself till satisfaction and rinse my body under the shower.
I slip into a black nightgown and dance my way to the tray of food.
“Yayyy, all my favourites.” I moan, eating almost everything on the tray and finishing up with a glass of water.
What made me think I could escape an Alpha? My actions today sound so hilarious.
I look at the time and it’s almost midnight. Today was a long day.
I pick up my almost empty tray and move to the elevator, I get to the ground floor and make a beeline for the kitchen.
I start to wash the plates when I notice Sebastian standing in a corner of the kitchen drowning what appears to be wine.
I finish up with the plates and move to him, trying to apologize for my earlier actions.
“You didn’t have to do that. I have a cleaner who does the dishes.”
“It’s fine.” I say pulling a strand of my hair behind my ear.
He looks…tired, drained even. What’s wrong with him?
“Are you okay? Do you need help? Is there something I can do for you?” I remember he had his ‘rut’
I move toward him, I take the wine from his hand, and he tries to take it back but I stretch further away from him.
His height gives him an advantage though and I know he can take it if he wants to. I can also move away if I want to but I love the feel of his body pressed against mine and I hate that I do.
I place the wine on the counter behind me and push myself more into him, my body trapped between him and the counter.
“I’m sorry for what I did today.” I start not knowing where to place my hands. So I leave them on my sides.
“You said your rut had started.” I swallow, my offer becoming hard to say.
“What I’m trying to say is.. you need me, and you don’t look too good right now and I also don’t want to be the reason you die.”
“Look, you don’t have to…” He engulfs my mouth with his, stealing the breath from my lungs.
