Everything went well, Greta was happy with that first step for the economic recovery of Ponte Agro and above all with the regaining of her self-confidence. She wanted to celebrate and when Mr Barolo invited her for something to eat before she returned home, she accepted the invitation with great pleasure.
There was a small family-run restaurant, a few meters from the door of the office: the room was small and everything was red in that tiny place, and that welcomed them with a warm hug.
Mr Barolo was a regular customer there, everyone greeted him and he was smiling at everyone eating there.
They sat down at a round table, covered with a red and white checked tablecloth: she felt at home in that place which had been unknown to her up until a few moments before.
