Rethen and Civalon

stared at my father's brown eyes trying to understand what was going on between my kingdom and the kingdom of Civalon, "Son, I expect you to understand that in order to protect our name, our crown, and our kingdom we must stay strong even when there is disagreement" my father said as he stared at me, "Father, maybe we should talk things out with them and figure a peaceful way out of this" I said, "No son, the Durndolf's are self absorbed and only care about themselves" my father said, "How do you know?" I asked, "I just know it. Fred, please accompany my son out" my father ordered, "Yes, King Rodger" the guard said as he followed me out, "Sorry Prince Asher, it's the king's orders" Fred said, "It's fine" I said. I walked to the throne room and I saw my mother looking tired and worried, "Mother?" I asked, "Oh!" my mother said in surprise as her blue eyes widened in surprise, "Sorry" I said, "It's fine" my mother said as she fidgeted with her blond hair, "Mom, I don't want to worry you more, but I don't agree with my father, I want to know the kingdom of Civalon before judging" I said, "Yes my son, your father has become very focused in his beliefs" mom said, "May I visit the kingdom?" I asked, "Sure, but don't let your father find out about it and don't tell your identity to the king and the queen" mom said, "Yes" I said, "Wait" mom said as combed my brown wavy hair with a comb, "You are so handsome, you have your father's hair and my blue eyes" my mom said proudly with a smile, "Thank you mom" I said as I gave her a hug. I went to my room and I changed into casual clothes, plus I carried a map and a small dagger with me just to be safe. The border to the kingdoms was always protected by a few guards, I am lucky there weren't a lot of them, but I guess that makes sense since no one ever wants to cross to the other kingdom. Civalon was somewhat like Rethen, but it was unique too, it had more trees and flowers. I walked towards a interesting shop with small carvings made out of wood, "Excuse me mam?" I asked the lady at the counter, "Yes how may I- oh! what a handsome young man! Lucy come and help this young man" the lady said as a really short girl with frizzy hair came over to talk with me, "Hi!" Lucy said with a high pitched voice, "Uhm hi" I said, "May I help you?" Lucy asked, "No, I was just walking by" I said, "Really?" Lucy asked, "Yeah and I'm gonna visit the royal family too" I said, "Oh good luck, I don't like the princess " Lucy said with an eye roll, "Lucy! Don't say that! You are just jelous" the lady said, "Mother!" Lucy yelled, "Even I think the princess is beautiful" the lady said, "Princess?!" I said, "Yeah?" the lady said, "Sorry, I'm not from around here" I said, "He wants to visit the castle" Lucy said, "Oh, you must be a tourist from one of our allies! What a pleasure to meet you" the lady said, "It is a pleasure to meet you too, now if you excuse me, I must go on" I said, "By the way, the princess name is Leah" the lady said with a wink, "Leah?" I said silently as I walked towards the castle of Durndolf. The castle was very big just like my castle at home, but instead of the stone statues there were a bunch of flowers and plants in there garden. I walked towards the steps, but I saw a pair of guards, so I walked towards the back into the garden. I hid behind a tall bush because I heard someone talking, "Thank you Mina, but I think I will be alright" a sweet voice said as she moved around, "Alright princess, if you need anything make sure to call me, okay?" Mina asked, "Yes" the princess said. The Princess? I moved closer to the bush and I saw a beautiful girl with long auburn hair sitting on a stool with a canvas and a brush as she painted the flowers below her. I didn't know what to do, I didn't expect to meet the princess today, I didn't even know there was a princess. I moved out of the bush thinking about what I was gonna do, "Hi" I said, "Oh, hi" the princess said shily as her brush fell to the grass, "Sorry" I said as I picked up her brush and gave it to her, her eyes were a pretty light blue color and she also had adorable freckles on her nose.
