The birds were chirping and the sun was shining on all of the flowers and on the leaves of the trees, it was truly beautiful, so that was the reason why I was painting the royal garden with my water paints, "Princess Leah?" Mina asked as she looked down at me, "Hi Mina, is something wrong?" I asked in concern as I looked at my nervous maid, "I was just worried, but your mother has asked to speak with you" Mina said, "Alright, I'm coming" I said, "I will put your beautiful painting and paint in your room" Mina said, "Thank you" I said as I stood up and walked in the castle. The castle was very big and very beautiful, it had big windows and beautiful flowers as decorations. I went to my mother's study room and I sat next to her on the velvet chairs, "Leah, how's your day been?" Queen Opal asked, "I'm doing good mother" I said as I stared at her light blue eyes the same as mine, "Good, I want to talk to you about the feud between the kingdoms, what do you think?" my mother asked, "I want peace for everyone, I dont think it's necessary to fight over something from the past" I answered, "I agree with you, I wish it where that simple, but your father doesn't seem to change his mind and King Rodger keeps acting very stubborn" mother said as she massaged her head, "Mother? Do you think I could try meeting people from the other side?" I asked, "No, I'm sorry. Your father wouldn't be happy about this, you know he wants to protect you ever since we lost your..." mother trailed off with tears, "My sister?" I asked, "Yes, I still can't believe it, she was only seven yet she was so sick we couldn't save her" my mother said with tears, "I'm sorry" I said as I hugegd my mother, "I'm sorry for you too, you were only four when she left" mom said as she wiped her tears of with her handkerchief, "It's alright mom... I won't leave the kingdom till it's safe" I said with a small smile, "You are so beautiful Leah, you have been blessed with greater beauty" my mother said as she touched my long straight auburn hair, "Mom please" I said as I blushed, "I just hope you find your knight in shining armor" my mother said, "I do too" I said as I thought about having a prince holding my hand, "Well, go and have fun now" my mother said, "Thank you mom...
