XANDER After a hectic day filled with my parents, Logan, and a stack of urgent documents from work, I was more than relieved to finally head home. I stepped out of the elevator and into my apartment—over seventy-two hours in New York and I hadn’t even been home. I hadn’t touched my bed, hadn’t breathed in my own space, or shut my eyes for more than a few minutes at a time. Davin had offered to stay over tonight. I didn’t argue.
