Abel's pov
It's the next day.
Same as always.
After school.
Mr.Brown's office.
"So..did you wrote the three things?" Asked Mr.Brown while stirring his tea.
Weird, he never drink tea before.
"Here," I passed the paper to him.
"Ok,"
Mr. Brown started reading,
"First, school,"
"Second, school,"
"Third, school,"
"You don't have to repeat that three times but alright"
"Look I know school sucks but you'll be graduating this year, just hold on for a little while,okay?" Said Mr.Brown while looking deeply into my eyes.
What a weirdo. But I guess he's alright.
"Fine," I said forcefully.
I guess I'll hold on for a while. But I'm sure as heck that I'll get out if this crappy town and move to the big city and work as a programmer somewhere.
Suddenly a door opens.
"Oh you're here," Said Mr. Brown.
I looked back and saw medium blue hair and pale skin girl with plain dark purple turtleneck and black jeans went in.
She then sat next to me. She seems nervous as her hands kept fidgeting.
"Okay, introduce yourselves to each other," Said Mr. Brown.
"Why?" I asked. I honestly don't see a point on why we should introduce ourselves, bedsides this is just for our personal needs.
"So that you two could get along, because you guys are both on the same boat anyways," Said Mr. Brown.
"Abel Crowlston," I said unenthusiasticly.
"C-Crolline Ravens," Said that Crolline girl.
And then we shakes hands. It was kinda awkward but whatever. At least I don't have to see her again.
"Okay, so I have a meeting today so I'm just gonna give you another paper sheet but this time you have to ask each other what is the three things that make you happy today, no questions now I'm going bye also ask each other," Said Mr. Brown then went out to the teacher's meeting room.
I'm so glad that was quick. I freaking love when teachers have meetings. They should do it more often.
I then left the room as happy as can be.
But when I'm on the school's gate I realized that I have to ask that girl about the things that make her happy or whatever.
I then saw her walking past me and I grabbed her hand,"Hey wait, we have to ask each other questions first,"
"Umm..f-for what?" Asked Crolline.
"Um, Mr. Brown told us duh," I said. Doesn't this girl heard what Mr. Brown just said.
"Oh, I thought we answered on our own," Said Crolline.
Yep, she's definitely clueless.
"Well, I wanted that too but Mr. Brown don't," I said.
"Oh ok," Said Crolline.
"Okay then let's discuss it a café nearby," I said.
Crolline just nodded and then we walked to the nearest café.
We then both looked at the menu.
And then I said,"Excuse me.."
"Josh?!" I said.
Josh was my other friend. He went to a different school but I didn't know he works part time.
"What? I can't work part time?" Said Josh.
"No....it's just...it's...weird," I said.
"Dude, I need money to pay debt I have with Fexter Thompson the other day," Said Josh.
"What did you own him?" I asked.
"500 bucks," Josh answered.
"Bro why?" I was so confused. Like why do you need that much money.
"You know my girlfriend, Ava, we go on a date and she bought a bunch of stuff and you know," Said Josh.
I do not like Ava.
But that's another topic for another day.
Right now I'm so confused on why Josh wants to borrow money from Fexter Thompson, that crazy guy.
"Ok, but you could've asked me or our friend group for it you know and not freaking Fexter Thompson, you do know that he doubles the money that we owe him, that means you gotta pay him 1,000 bucks that's just crazy dude," I said.
"Also I'm pretty sure at this point, your girlfriend just wants you for the money," I added.
"Look, we can talk later I'll message you, but I've gotta work now um do you wanna order?" Ask Josh.
"Fine, I'll have iced cappuccino and..."
"Wait, is that your girlfriend?" Asked Josh.
"No! Apparently she's in the same after school counseling with me and now we're supposed to ask each other stuff it's complicated" I said.
"Ooo...Is she your type?" Josh whispered to my ears.
"What?! No" I answered.
Sorry Josh I'm not a lovesick hopeless romantic like you.
"Sorry I just thought.."
I then looked at Crollline that was just standing there without saying anything the whole time. Maybe she's just nervous with strangers.
So I asked her,"Do you wanna order something?"
I saw Josh eyes that was shocked at my behavior. He knows for sure that I'm usually not that nice towards people, especially girls.
"Dude, I think this is the first time I see you talking nicely like that to a girl" Said Josh.
"You're being dramatic" I said.
I don't know. I just have a soft spot for her. I just feel like if I said something a little mean she'll cry. She's seems fragile so I don't want to be mean to her.
"Umm..Sakura Lychee Fizz and cranberry tart" She said softly while looking at the ground.
Don't know why but I thought that was kinda cute. Wait, Abel you never ever thought a girl is cute?! What's wrong with you?!!
"Okay, anything else?" Asked Josh.
"That's all" I said.
