WAR OF ROSES

CHAPTER 3: ZAPHIRA'S POV

I took a seat in this art room and took hold of a new canvas. For an art room in an art school-there were only 4 learners present in this very class. I looked at the different options of colors available for use- I then looked back at my canvas. I applied a light color to my paint brush and started painting. My inspiration for this very painting was Daniella , we always talked about the beauty of the woods, my very view on the woods were vivid indeed. Memories of that night came flooding in as I painted freely, I then heard the door open and the class went quiet. I felt a presence behind me and then he walked out to the front and took a seat staring me on. I finished the final touches on my painting and looked up . Ely Stone sat there looking at me-he had long black hair with blonde highlights, he had these crystal blue eyes, he looked extremely fit and muscular and I was certain that he was tall.

He slowly got up and made his way over to me, he stood a foot behind me. ''What was your inspiration for this very painting?'' he asks me. ''My older sister!'' I turned to face him and his eyes looked at every detail of my face. ''You have some fine inspiration there, well done on your first painting!'' his deep voice echoed throughout the room. The door then opened again''I see that you have met Ely! now that he has accessed your first painting, you may go to the library and read a little bit about the history of this school and that I believe will be discussed in your first class tomorrow!'' Eden states and there after leaves the class.

Ely and I were still looking in each others eyes, there was something intriguing about his eyes and the way they stared at me. For a second I noticed the blue getting darker and then it went back to normal . I broke out of the trance I was in due to his eyes, I got up clearing my space and was on my way out of the class.

[ ELY'S POV ]

Being so close to her felt unreal , there was no denial that she felt something towards me. The way my eyes darkened with such deep eye contact from her - I know she noticed it due to how her hazel blue eyes looked like they were drowning in my blue orbs.She was about to leave the class when I spoke '' I'm pleased to have a fine talented student like yourself Zaphira!'' I turned to look at her'' I'm happy to have pleased you Mr.Stone !'' she states back matching my energy. I smirk slightly and she looks at me amused.

I made my way to all my classes and afterwards I attended a meeting hosted by Edward ''glad you could make it Ely!today's discussion is about Zaphira- I kept an eye on her today and I've thoroughly checked her file but something seems to be missing -its either she's covering up something or she's trying to forget something!'' Eden paces around turning to look at Edward''do you want us to keep an eye on her, maybe befriend her?'' Edward leans back in his seat ''I see that you have taken a liking to her Eden, don't worry about this -I'm sure Ely would love to take care of this !''

Everyone's eyes turn to me , well that's what you get when you siblings with a 100 year old vampire-they get to know you too damn well. I stand up looking directly at Edward ''you're absolutely right, I would love to handle this and as of for you Eden, don't get too close to her brother!'' Eden chuckles ''this explains why you were drinking in broad daylight-she's clearly gotten in your head! '' I was never a calm brother , it would be a miracle if my anger died down . I looked intently at Eden, Elliot stepped in ''enough! both of you , we all can clearly see how both of you are obsessing over her !'' I stepped away and walked out of the room, there's no way Eden's taking her away from me -she was meant for me and I was meant for her, I will foresee that it happens.
