WAR OF ROSES

CHAPTER 6: ZAPHIRA'S POV

I was writing down my notes for my art history class. Edward kept his eye on me as I suspected. After writing my notes , the class ended.I walked out making my way down the stairs ,that's when I encountered Ely. He looked at me from top to bottom-ah so I intrigued him! I won't lie to you but Ely is extremely hot and I'm quite attracted to him. ''Miss Phantom, may I steal you for a minute or two?'' he asked me while staring at my lips. ''Sure !'' I walked with him to his office and took a seat.

{ ELY'S POV }

Zaphira sat on the couch while I sat on my desk. She looked ravishing in that dress which I so desperately wanted to rip off . ''It has come to my attention that there's outstanding information missing in your records ! '' she looked at me ''what exactly do you want to know ?'' hmm she was brave. ''You can start off by telling me what is it that you do in your free time?'' she ponders for a second '' archery, painting , reading and I run!'' very direct answers, no lie detected but surely she was hiding more.''Interesting, is your running trails in the woods?'' she smiles '' absolutely ! '' so shes not afraid of the dangers lurking around in the woods?! ''are you not afraid of the woods?'' she looks at the window for a split second '' the dangers lurking around in the woods should be afraid of me , not the other way around!'' I smirk and she slightly smiles. ''You love roses, don't you ?'' I get off my desk walking closer to her.

''Yes , my older sister always called me her little rose!'' she looked at my every move towards her'' she's not entirely wrong!you surely remind me of roses!'' she got up and I walked closer to her, towering over her 5'4 height. ''Thank you for your time, you may leave-you about 15 minutes but you can still make it!'' she grins at me'' hmm now I have to come up with a good excuse as to why I'm 15 minutes late!'' I chuckle '' just tell Eden that you were with the hot exotic Ely Stone!'' I add a wink and she bursts out laughing . Her beautiful laughter tugged my heart ''don't be so intimidated by me Zaphira-laugh freely, talk freely , afterall I have this gut feeling that we are going to get to know each other a bit more on a personal level!''

I stared in her beautiful hazel blue eyes and she stepped closer to me''the real question is -can you handle me on a personal level?'' her bravery was just something else. Being a 97 year old vampire- I knew when exactly her heartbeat went up or when she was nervous or lying but right now -it was steady.

{ ZAPHIRA'S POV }

I got to my class 25 minutes late, Eden let me off the hook and managed to explain to me what was going on . After explaining - I just sat in my seat looking at Eden as he talked to other students. What was so different between Eden and Ely ? Eden seemed too high of himself while Ely seemed possessive of what's his. Either way, one thing was clear to me-Ely Stone knew a lot more about me then Edward did. Do I have a stalker on my hands?!
