CHAPTER 8: ELY'S POV

After Zaphira fainted- I caught her just in time and placed her on her bed. Her nosebleed stopped , I wiped the remaining blood and closed her up with a blanket. Everything that occurred tonight was just too much for her to handle , I stroked her beautiful hair and gazed at her beautiful face. She was so beautiful and I'll make it my duty from now onwards to tell her how beautiful she actually was,infact I'll show her. I got up slowly, making sure to not disturb her, I looked at her one more time and left.

{ ZAPHIRA'S POV }

I woke up , feeling my nose- after I reached my bathroom , everything was just a blur. All I do remember is seeing Ely , he must have taken care of me. I quickly showered and then got dressed in black skinny jeans, a black crop top and white converse. I left my hair loose and applied eyeliner , I had all the jewelry on that I needed. I quickly made myself breakfast and got in my car.

I arrived at school and went straight to Ely's office. The door was open so I walked right in -he was busy with some paperwork.''Morning Zaphira!'' I walked further in his office''why did you help me last night?'' he looked up from his paperwork ''did you expect me to leave you to suffer just because you human?''I just looked at him'' our relationship is much more then you think!'' He walked around his desk and sat on it.

''In supernatural creatures , we have something called mates,in vampirism it works a bit differently. A mate is every supernatural creature's other half , in vampirism we mark our mate by blood bounding them-meaning a taste of our mate's blood makes us blood bound!'' I process what he says for a second '' so you telling me that we are mate's and you are sure of this because you have watched me for years or so , right?'' Ely's eyes bore right into mine'' I used to watch you up until your sisters disappearance but then I stopped because I was sure that we could never be together , but destiny brought you back to me!''

I nod slightly ''is that all you wanted to know ?'' I walk closer to his desk and he looks at me trying to decipher what I'm doing ''for now yes!'' I stand between his legs and wrap him in a hug and he hugs me back, he smells my neck and hugs me tighter . After the hug,I see his eyes looking a bit darker than usual . Ely intertwines our hands, bringing me much closer to him. I look at Ely and he stares back at me''thank you for helping me !'' I tell Ely , while he traces my lips.

{ ELY'S POV }

I should probably control myself around her ,but the fact that she knows now-makes it more tempting to give into her. She wasn't denying me and that just makes things easier for me- I could finally be with her. I just have to protect her from Elliot , I can't afford to lose her. There's too much at stake here and I'm not letting her go.
