I was at home looking through stacks of books in the library. ''Why didn't you tell us that she's your mate?!'' I found the book I was looking for , I turned around and placed it on the table . I placed my knuckles on the table and looked at Eden. ''About 17 years ago-when you were living life to the fullest and finding pleasure in drinking every females blood you came upon, I, on the other hand, was informed about the birth of my mate. Her father found me and told me that his youngest daughter was about to be born , he told me that I was her mate. He told me that he knew his oldest daughter-Daniella , would embrace being a vampire. He told me that Tanya would eventually turn but Zaphira would stick to being a mortal, despite the fact that she was weaker than us immortals-she would never be completely defenseless !''

I looked down at the book and paged through it, continuing to speak''I'm trying to find out as to how Cole Phantom knew exactly what was about to happen before his daughters even reached the age!'' I looked at the page and scanned through it . I then looked up at Eden ''he made sure that the truth doesn't come out!'' I closed the book and walked past Eden. I looked over my shoulder and stopped as he spoke ''so all this for a mortal?!'' I turned to look at him ''not just any mortal- our lives depend on her. Her father made sure that creatures like ourselves have one duty to fulfill and that is Zaphira! I suggest you stay away from my mate-she's mine and I'm sure you know that I hate sharing!''

Eden stood up and walked up to me-we stood face to face, but I was taller than Eden. ''What does she have to do with me?'' I looked at Eden with no emotion visible. ''About 40 years ago- in the year 1981, I had a friend -a really good one , her name was Ruby and she was a werewolf. The minute your eyes set on her, you turned her against me to the point that I couldn't even recognize her any longer. Every single thing I ever had -you stole it from me, you took what you pleased and didn't care about the consequences. 57 years later, I finally have my mate , I will not allow you to ruin that for me, so adhere to my warning and stay away from her!'' Eden glared at me and walked away, I looked at him leaving. I then looked down at the book in my hand-Cole Phantom, you should have told me how many would be after Zaphira!

I got in my Lamborghini Aventador SV and drove to Artonson. I walked inside the building , a few students greeted me and I nodded back. I went up to my office and sat down on my chair paging through the book. '' Looking for something on my father huh ?'' Tanya walks in and I look up at her'' something like that, how did you know?'' She walks further in'' Edens gone on a rampage!'' I sat back in my seat'' I know it must be weird that I'm also a vampire but I can't handle 2 ancient vampires, I have my eye on Elliot and Eden is your worry now!'' Tanya sighs ''Zaphira was only 14 when Daniella left, I can see how it eats her up but when you are with her , I immediately see a difference so I thank you for helping and being here for her!'' Tanya then looks to the side and Elliot enters the office.

Tanya looked at me and was on her way out when Elliot spoke'' Tanya!'' she ignored him and Elliot turned to look at me''What is it that I can help you with , brother?''
