CHAPTER 16: ZAPHIRA'S POV

After that dream, I sat in my room for the remainder of the day thinking.My father left us when I was 11,then 3 years later my sister disappeared and 2 years ago Tanya turned and now 2 years later again- I find out that my vampire side was subdued.What did I ever do that I had to be lied too so much?! The worst part is that my very own mother knew everything and till now she runs away from the very own truth.

I was sitting by my balcony , I heard a knock and Tanya came and sat down with me- she took my hand in hers.'' Hey you've been in here all day, what's wrong?'' I looked at her'' we completed the mating process and during it my eyes changed to a yellow mixed with my original colors. Daniella appeared in my dream, telling me that father subdued my vampire side when I was just 10 years old, that seal broke the minute I mated-his coming back for all of us and Daniella 's coming back to protect me!''

Tanya looked shocked ''why would he do that?!'' I shrugged.

It was the evening and I was getting dressed for the art event. I put on this short maroon strapless sweetheart dress, it had a strapless lace bodice with a sweetheart neckline.I paired it with silver lace up heels, I did a retro winged eyeliner look and dark red matte liquid lipstick as well as a silver glam cat smokey eye look. I placed my hair in a half up, half down hairstyle.I put on my silver rose red ring and my silver red rose earrings and lastly, I put on my rose necklace, a sterling silver red rose, which was showcased inside an elegant glass wall. I grabbed my handbag and left my room.

I reached downstairs and I saw Tanya looking beautiful in this short black strapless beaded ruffled chiffon dress.Her hair was placed in an elegant messy bun. She looks at me and smiles''you look like a princess!'' I reached the bottom of the stairs and bowed, after we both laughed-we decided to sit outside on the porch and wait for our dates/mates. ''As soon as today's events are over-I'm moving out, I can't stay in the very home where secrets were hidden!''Tanya sighs''then I'll move out with you!'' I look back at her'' why?'' she looks back at me'' I owe you this much after everything you've been through!'' ''thanks!'' our dates arrive and we walk to them.

{ ELY'S POV}

I look at Zaphira as she gets in my car''you look ravishing!'' she smiles and leans over and kisses my lips, she then whispers against my lips''you look like a hot snack!'' she bites my lips and before she could sit back in her seat-I crash my lips against hers, making her moan. I then whispered back'' don't tempt me , I'll take you right here and now!'' I looked at her with this dangerous look and she smiled'' what you waiting for?'' she bit her lip and I stared intently at her. ''You playing a dangerous game , little mate!''

Through it all , I drove us to school-my hand was on her thigh and she put her hand over mine, guiding it down to her wet panties-I growled, why did she have to make things so hard for me?!I parked the car and turned the lights off , I looked back at her and she had this hungry look in her eyes- I pulled her onto my lap and stared in her eyes. ''Tell me what you want?'' she rubbed herself against my member, making me hard. I groaned and pulled her dress a little down, I then lowered her panties and she was soaking wet. I brought her head to mine and kissed her lips and, after that, I looked back at her-my eyes were now a orange mixed with blue. It was as if she saw something deeply in my eyes that she narrowed her eyes and stopped blinking for a second.'' That's my vampire side responding to yours !'' I stroked her cheek and she leaned into my touch.

We walked into the school. I looked at Zaphira and she seemed lost in her own thoughts- I intertwined our hands and she gripped mine tightly. My brothers noticed us and came over to us. I looked at Eden as his eyes trailed down her dress and I pulled her closer to me. She didn't smell aroused any longer, so it was one less worry. ''Control yourself Eden, I'm very much mated to your brother!'' Edward smiled and I smirked , Eden on the other hand, rolled his eyes and left.

The event went successfully and then I took Zaphira back to my house where my brothers and Tanya were waiting.We walked inside and Zaphira looked at me confused ''its about your eyes!'' she looked at Tanya and walked further in.She took a seat while Tanya sat with Elliot .The rest of us stood around getting a drink and then Edward spoke.
