Chapter 10 Though tender and succulent, the steak on his plate might as well have been a cheap burger. Dean dismissed the flavour after the first few bites. He ate because he suspected he needed the energy for later, but every forkful meant interminable time spent at the dinner table. Jay watched his every movement.
