Emma. The few days leading up to the wedding passed in a blur. I kept to my room, ignoring the sounds of laughter and celebration drifting to my chamber. The pack house felt like it belonged to someone else. For two days, I remained locked away, an uninvited guest in a place I’d thought would be my home.
