Despite a rocky first meeting, in which Lloyd had called Vin “Jack” repeatedly and refused to give a name himself, the two had formed a bond. Lloyd was the first person who’d made Vin realize exactly what was wrong with his life, and more than Ann-Marie, or Beau, had helped Vin come to the realization that, yes, Vin was an alcoholic.
