“2 out of 3 children were found dead, 1 went missing, they left home for school: Cops” “In a first, Metro Train Transports Live Heart of Brain Dead for Transplant” “Inno Swap Corporation CEO received a Pioneer Award in Nano Science and Technology” News flashed in the headlines of the DUTV website (the leading news channel) and a curious finger touched the link to expand to have a detailed read. Many eyes on the train were fixed on her appearance with two-toned hair colouring; her thick-framed spectacles and her weird appearance even scared some children of the train travellers. To distract herself from this eyed world, she decided to kill the time on train travel by looking into the latest and worldwide news as a feed to her brain, perhaps. “Inno Swap Corporation!”- A feminine voiced the name of the company and read the expanded news about the company and a pair of curious eyes found the video link about the award function. The video was heard through Bluetooth earphones. The curious eyes skipped the talkative of many and finally stopped to glimpse the hero of the award ceremony. In the video, The young handsome man rose from his seat to receive the award upon being called by his name, Karen Redclaws. A suited man of his late forties introduced Karen Redclaws to the audience when he reached the stage. “I call upon Karen Redclaws, a young and talented founder and CEO of the Inno Swap Corporation, to receive the Pioneer Award for her willful contribution in the field of Nanoscience and technology” The man of six feet tall in his classic black suit, white shirt, black tie, and oxford dress shoes reached the stage with his quick steps and greeted the award givers and audience to receive his award. The entire room was filled with clapping and joy-crying sounds. A man in his late forties asked the audience to calm down and turned towards Karen Redclaws, “Young man, you can say something. The stage is yours.” Karen Redclaws agreed and took over the stage by holding the award in his right hand and the mic in the left and the audience was silenced when they heard the voice. Upon taking numerous glances at his award, finally, he opened his mouth with little furrowed eyebrows, “My sincere thanks to everyone… for this award… and I' ve least contributed to this Nanotech field. Wanted to explore more and help every field with the power of science and technology (his eyes rolled towards the reporters who were taking snaps of him) and, yeah… you can ask me anything”- he addressed everyone in a hoarse and manly voice. The metro train was stopped at the station to unload and reload the passengers; the pair of curious-eyed girl lifted her head only to peep out of the window to realize that the train had reached the station. She paused on the video for a minute to listen to the voice in the metro train which was announcing the name of the current station and the next station. “You have one more stop to go…” a voice beside her informed. The girl with a two-toned hair colour turned to look at the person by carefully holding her tablet by removing her earphones, “Cassata! How have you been?” The girl named Cassata who suited her in the white shirt and a black skirt moved closely to look at her weird look, “Blimey, you look weird than in our university, Ara” Cassata still couldn’t take her eyes off Aranya and asked about it, “What makes you to… (With a frowned pause) …change. I was confused that I have mistaken you for someone else first.” A smile prevailed in the corner of her lips of Aranya and she wanted her friend to divert from her appearance and so asked, “You look professional, where do you work?” Cassata hurriedly forget the question she just asked Aranya and rummaged in her handbag and took her ID card to show to her friend Aranya, whose brown eyes were enlarged to look at the name of the company, Inno Swap Corporation! Aranya screamed a little, “Oh my god, Are you working in this legendary company and an award-winning handsome CEO?” Cassata repeated, “Handsome… Do you know my boss? He is rare to spot even in social media too…. How do you…?” Aranya showed her the video of the award ceremony on her tablet, “Just to skip the time in train travel. But is he Rare-to-spot…? So creepy! Everyone wants to be popular on social media. Are you working under this archaic boss? Cassata saw the wonder in her eyes of Aranya, “Yes. I work as a project manager with lots of pressure on my head. Even I don’t get a chance to meet him regularly. He rarely meets anyone. Ara let me hear you. What are you doing?” Aranya replied with a sigh of disbelief, “I am travelling.” Cassata laughed at her and stopped to receive the fierce sight from Aranya, “Ara, I am asking, what are you doing for your survival?” “Unemployed”, Aranya was tense and felt jealous of her friend for being employed. Cassata was shocked, “How… It can’t be… You were the topper in our university. How come you have gone unemployed? I can’t believe you.” Aranya exhaled some air towards her destiny and replied to Cassata, “A long story… Life is not been easier with me.” A video was resumed by the misplaced touch of her hands; everyone in the train could hear the voice of Karen Redclaws as she had previously disconnected the Bluetooth earphones. In the video, One of the reporters asked, “Sir, can you share your next focus?” Karen Redclaws replied to the reporter, “My next focus is on contributing to the Medical field.” Aranya quickly reduced the volume, and tried to pause to video, while Cassata stopped her. “Are you looking for jobs or what?”- asked Cassata. Aranya replied by looking at the video, “Uhmm, yeah… trying hard to get employed. No one wants Bio-Tech topper in their company.” The next words which came from the mouth of Cassata were the life-survival message of Aranya. “My company is hiring some technologists to work under a new project, including Bio-tech. If you are interested, mail me your resume. I can make possibilities for your survival.” Aranya refused initially her On-My-Own nature and Cassata finally convinced her mind to accept such a wonderful opportunity by digging her company’s visiting card in Aranya’s handbag. The train stopped at the last station to unload the passengers, Aranya stepped out of the train with a trunk card to explore the new world.
