I bite my lip guiltily. I should know that the couple has had problems from the beginning that had absolutely nothing to do with me, or what I almost did. But I can't help but feel like my presence, along with my sister's actions, have poured gasoline onto that fire.
Tilting my head back against the headrest, I watch the small drips of rain hit my windshield while simultaneously squinting through the downpour at the large recording building. My wipers jump into action, causing me to flinch back to reality.
