A FEW DAYS LATER
"Look me in the eyes, you b***h," I growled, grabbing the helpless woman by her neck. We were in the dark alley of a human town, far from anyone who might try to save her.
"Please," she cried, her voice trembling. "Take everything, just let me go. I have children... they're waiting for me." Her pleas were pathetic, but I didn't care. Humans meant nothing to me.
"Look me in the eyes," I commanded, forcing her to meet my gaze.
"You'll stay quiet until I'm done with you, and then you can get the f**k out of here." My voice was cold as I used compulsion on her. I watched as her expression went blank, the magic taking hold.
Stupid humans. They were so easy to control.
