Meetings after meetings and work after work , it is like an endless chain. It exhausts you to the core. I am glad that finally it's over. I close my laptop and exhale a breath of relief. Today I will be able to go home early.
Now that Sylvia stays with me it feels like home. Earlier I hated going back to the house where I had to stay alone without anyone to accompany me. But nowadays I have this urge to go home as early as possible. This way I can spend more of my time with the person I love.
A sudden knock on the door breaks my chain of thoughts.

" Did I disturb you ? "
"Oh , Ava you don't need to knock . And I was already packing my things up."
