I woke up in the middle of the night hearing Sylvia's trembling voice. I switched on the lamp to see her body sweating and trembling with fear. Her face looked tear stained and new tears replaced the old ones with each passing moment. She was definitely seeing a nightmare.
I tried to wake her up . She was screaming and pleading , " Please stop .Don't do this" . And her fear stricken face made me weak . But I had to be strong because she needed someone to hold her. So I tried again . She was thrashing her legs and constantly moving her arms to shove me away.
" Sylvia" , I shouted on top of my lungs and that's when she woke up . '
You are safe . Ok . I am with you. ' That's when she relaxed a little and blinked her eyes trying to stop the tears but her body was still shaking . I
