Bane was being exceptionally sweet, regardless of his not being my first mate. It helps that not only is he kind on the eyes, but Crystal is also going to the pack as Alpha Dustins' mate. Her being there with me makes it so much easier to move on from what happened with Charlie and I appreciate that Bane would allow me to honor Charlie when I feel the need to. He had also promised that we could return to this pack at any time to visit Charlie's grave when the need would arise.
Dinner with the pack was great. Everyone came up to meet Alpha Dustin and Beta Bane as well as congratulate Crystal and me for finding our mates. It was bitter-sweet. The plan was to leave tomorrow afternoon to allow us the time to pack up anything that was important.
