GRIFFINS POV “Mother, please stop it?” It’s Christmas morning, and my Mother goes on and on about how the servants are not doing their job properly and grimaced at me the whole night, how Mia is sleeping in my bed and I in the guestroom. “Why haven’t you told me about her?” “Because it’s none of your business.” My mother taps her long nails on the counter, waiting for Gretha to bring fresh coffee.
