MIA’S POV
“Dawn? I didn’t.”
“That was cruel Mia, especially coming from you.”
“I know, I just wanted to hurt him, the same way he hurt me, I didn’t mean it.” I feel like I can vomit any minute. I never meant to use the one thing Griffin is most afraid of.
“Mia, Griffin loves you. Everyone can see that, you know firsthand that he suffers grief more than any of us. He lost the love of his life, and then his brother walked out on him, then you got kidnapped and walked out on him countless times, I know he’s not perfect, far from perfect but he tries every day.”
I sit in silence. I hate this, but Griffin knows exactly how to push my buttons, but I also have to admit he is not the same Griffin as he was when I first met him.
