They both snickered.
"I wonder...", Nick thought aloud, " If that priest knew what that kid would become, would he still save him? "
"Nope.", Rowland puffed an 'o' into the air, "Hopefully for him, there'd be no witnesses, right? "
" I guess in his case, they would always be a witness...", Nick stated as he let smoke leak from his nose.
"Y'know, they are easier ways to say 'hurry up', right?", Rowland smirked as he gently shook the blunt in order to ensure the firmness of the joint.
"And y'know, funny enough...In the time that we took to have that conversation, you had finally finished.", he glanced at Rowland,
"I was just passing time."
"Tss, Smart ass... ", Rowland jabbed jokingly;
"Pass the light."
And they sat there for about five minutes or so, watching as the sun disappear
