"Wait- is there a person in that room?" She asked as she pointed at the slightly open door. He looks at her and laughs and slams the door, so harshly that she jumps away frightened. He came closer to her and she backed away, further and further , unbeknownst to her, he was leading her into a trap.
"If you comply you won't get what she's getting, you know that, right?" He asked as he continued to push her farther and farther into a dark room. Instead of continuing, she decided to forget about the girl and cooperate with him for the time being. He breathed a sigh of relief before grabbing her by the arm and dragging her out of the room. Despite her continuous complaints about how he was hurting her, he dragged her down the stairs and to the dining room. He forced her to sit down and eat with him. From what she had just seen in the room, she knew that he could do anything to her, like poison her food, but aside from the previous moment, he was treating her well. After a minute of her not eating, he was getting annoyed. She noticed this and apologized. She told him that she was just lost in thought and began to eat the food. He wanted to know what could've made her go so deep into thought but decided not to ask. He'd found the perfect tool and he wasn't planning to get rid of her just yet. A doppelganger of the witch was all he needed to lure his children and niece into his trap. He'd found many people before, none of them an accurate match, but this one, this one was exactly what he was looking for. She looked at him for a couple of seconds because he was smiling in a way that made her feel like something was off about this entire interaction. Since she had woken up in the middle of the night, she'd been seeing many ghosts around his house, some old and some young. They were all different people, but they had one thing in common. They all looked like her or she looked like them, but one thing was for sure, they all looked like her mother. Her mother was a very secretive person, and she thought that all her secrets were well hidden. Little did she know, Nicole knew that she was a witch and was going around deceiving people into believing she could make all their desires come true. She was determined to find out who her mother was to Aiden and what his plan was. At 12 in the morning, the ghosts would pile up in her bed and although she continuously told them to leave. They'd lie there like the Grenadier Guards of the palace.
She felt as if they were trying to warn her, but she wasn't sure why until she ventured out further through the mysterious house. There were photographs of many people, but all of them were faceless. It looked like their faces had almost been melted off by some kind of acid. She noticed another thing they all had in common was their necks and their necklaces. Their necks looked like they were severed from the rest of the body and then put back together. Their necklaces were a different story, but she vividly remembered her mother wearing the same necklace, as well as all the ghosts that were floating around the house. She knew her mother was a witch and Aiden knew this too. She wandered further down the hall. As she came upon picture after picture, she noticed that they started to look the same. The names of each witch were written in perfect calligraphy at the bottom of the frame. She came upon her mother's picture, which was different from the rest. All the others had severed heads but her mother's photograph was a full body. Her body was severed at each of her joints, including half-way through her upper torso and her neck. The body was so pale yet so b****y Nicole couldn't bear to look at it any longer. She ripped the photo off the wall. She found a brick that looked like it could move. She pushed it and suddenly the wall spun around, bringing her into a big room filled with bodies. The room had a stench so she plugged her nose. She saw many ghosts that looked like they were screaming at her. She finally paid attention to them and they were telling her to hide quickly. She heard the door moving so she quickly hid behind one of the pillars. She saw Aiden walk in with the girl that was chained up in the room earlier.
