“...Did you sneak away to meet with him?"
What was the point of his asking me when he knew the answer clearly? I shouldn't have been surprised he already had all that information about James. Had he been the least bit suspicious when I suggested going to the concert so close to James' studio? And if he had been, why had he agreed to take me to the concert?
I was getting a headache from all these questions and having no answers. I took a deep before turning to face Ethan fully and finally nodded.
“Yes," I admitted.
I let out a gasp of surprise when Ethan turned and stalked into the house with a curse, pulling me behind him.
“Damn you, Isabella!" he snapped, coming to a stop in the living room. “Do I need to remind you that you're married?! You're my wife!"
