Isabella's POV
I felt a surge of apprehension at Eva's statement.
“An advanced review? Are those normal?" I asked Eva anxiously.
She tilted her head as she considered my question. “Hmm. Now that you mention it, not really. But every competition normally has its own set of rules and processes that they follow."
“I guess…but maybe double-check that it's coming from an official email address that's with the competition. I read somewhere that a lot of designs get stolen like that."
Eva was observing me carefully, but she nodded her agreement and promised to check before she sent the designs over.
Eva stayed for a few more hours but left after dinner, stating she had some work to finish at her studio.
After she left, the house seemed even quieter than before she'd gotten here.
