Ethan reached over and started filling my plate with a mixture of vegetables before placing a cut of stake in the center. I was particularly aware of York boring a hole into the side of my face from where he stood from one side of the room, and when I took a peek at Ethan, I noticed the death grip he had on his knife and fork despite the outward composed expression on his face.
