Abomination Part 3

240 Words
Mirelda POV I couldn't stop my eyes from going wide at what my neice was saying. She is every bit like my sister in every way. At first I didn't want to help her with the concealment spell not because I saw her child as an abomination but because I knew what problems it would bring nature doesn't like it when the supernatural interfere with it so I knew the bill would come due but I never expected it to be so soon. I knew my niece would never willingly put her daughter in an orphanage, especially one that mixed species unless it was for a reason. I also knew if the coven knew who the father of the child was, she would be cast out and branded, which was like a death sentence for our kind. I listened as she continued to give me instructions on what to do for Lisa until her tenth birthday and if I was about to raise her until then I knew it ment whatever that was coming I was not going to survive so I needed to prepare all I can for my granddaughter as well as the coven. Lisa was going to suffer when we are gone and we knew it but we are the daughters of the Light the most powerful bloodline of witches so Lisa would be strong as she is the only weapon we have against what is coming.
