Kiya’s POV The car door was already open when I stepped outside. Ken sat inside, hands tied in front of him, a cloth forced around his mouth. His eyes widened the moment he saw me, filled with panic, anger, and confusion. He tried to speak, but all that came out were muffled sounds as he struggled against the rope. “Ken…” I whispered, stepping closer. “Calm down, please. It’s okay.” It wasn’t okay. None of this was even close to okay. But right now, we didn’t have a choice. His shoulders dropped slowly when he heard my voice, and I reached out to untie him. The rope fell onto his lap, and I gently removed the cloth from his mouth. “We have to go for now,” I said quietly. “Just… just follow. No shouting, no fighting.
