I woke up feeling tingles on my hand. I looked over and found River lying on my hand sleeping. I wonder how long I have been here. s**t, I was supposed to check in nightly with my father. I hope I can cover up what has gone on. I look at River and smile. He has always been the quiet, strong, nerd type. I always had a soft spot for him that I could never explain away. Now I know why, he is my Soul Mate. Goddess, why couldn’t I just be human like I was raised? I want my mom. She would know what to do. I have made such a mess out of everyone’s lives, including my own.
