16 – 3rd Party POV:
It was time for another Hell Week to start. This year there are six different Alpha teams. It seems every year there are fewer and fewer Alpha teams. The older Alphas are staying Alpha because their children are taking Chosen Mates instead of mating with their Fated Mates. Of course, no one knows about it because it’s a stain on the Pack's reputation. Only the Elders know because they have to approve the mates. When mates are chosen, the Alpha will go to their Packs Elder to seek approval. There is an Elder in every pack. They will get together to converse with each other and the Moon Goddess. The Elders are the only ones who can talk to the Moon Goddess unless she favors you. There has not been a favored wolf since the First Alpha King.
