Chapter 16: Nothing The messenger had been checked by the guards for any weapons, and interrogated for half an hour, but then he hesitated. His hand froze as soon as he touched the metal doorknob. The man behind him soon grew impatient. "What's the matter? Get in!" He hissed as he regarded him with impatience. The messenger was now sweating, afraid for his own life. "Alright, alright." His voice quivered. He slowly turned the knob and gulped as he took his first step. "S-Sir?" His voice squeaked. His eyes searched the dark room for his boss.
