[Countdown: 8 days before the event and 14 days before Christmas]
It was just 9 am when I received a text message. I was already up and watching TV while eating Lays, after having just gotten home from jogging. I had no classes and I had no more work, since yesterday was pretty much the end of it. We'd fixed everything: from the food menu, to the design of the tiles around the room… basically, everything. All in all, it was a pretty good experience.
I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket and read it. I smiled as soon as I saw the sender's name.
‘Miss you Katee! I'll be visiting soon. Love you. -Justin’
I laughed at his message then replied:
‘I'll be looking forward to that day, haha. Love you back! –Katee’
I put my cell phone back into my pocket and resumed watching TV.
