My eyes widened. “Oh, my God...”
My hands began shaking as my heart pounded in shock and fear. Dread filled my system as I froze. What... is happening? I raised my hands and saw blood all over my hands and bedsheets.
I could not feel anything. Momentarily, I became numb. I was unable to move. I was lost for words. I don't know what to do.
I heard the door open.
I raised my gaze up and saw Rasheb standing in the doorway.
“Navelle— W-What?” He was standing beside me in the blink of an eye. “What the hell?! It's a f*cking blood!”
“R-Rasheb... m-my... my chest... is burning...” I uttered with much difficulty as I coughed more blood. It felt as if my soul was trying to leave my body. It was burning inside me.
