We followed the doctor to a room inside her office. She instructed me to change into a hospital dress. After changing, she told me to lay down. The doctor, then, checked my vital signs.
Traiver sat on the chair beside me. I held his hand. We were both nervous, but he is much stronger than mine. I can't help but to wonder what he was thinking right now.
What is he thinking about this situation?
Doctor Reta lifted the dress just below my breast.
“I will put a gel on your belly, alright? It might be a little bit cold,” she informed me.
I nodded my head. I've never had an ultrasound before so it kinda felt strange when the doctor applied a cold gel over my stomach.
“Is it uncomfortable? When can have another option to be able to see the baby, like vaginal insert—”
