The power of the devil

The power which basil received directly from diabolos has made a huge difference between john and basil. Basil now is able to hurt john pretty badly.

In a blink of an eye, basil puts john into the ground and makes him bleed through his mouth. John tries getting up and basil didn't wanna let him do it.

John gets a straight kick to the face and gets thrown into the temple wall. John again separates his body into four and attacks basil in four direction. Basil easily counters all four of them and creates a huge wind storm by swinging his sword. John gets thrown into the ground again and gets up without wasting any time. John jumps higher from the ground and creates a huge energy ball that looks like a sun. John throws it at basil. Basil uses his sword to split it into two and destroys it before it reached him.

John gets back to the ground and just stops.

“Are you admitting your defeat, john? I have a power which is greater than yourself. You stand no chance against me. Guess what? I will be giving you a second chance. If you bow before me, i will let you live. Who knows, we might even become friends like the old times. We can go and dominate everyone together. We can achieve great things together, so what do you say john. Bow before me and i will give you a second chance."

What are you doing? What is this. Your power is fading, no it is getting merged with something else. What monsterous aura that you are bringing. John grabs basils tongue and pulls it and cut it up.

Basil gets away from john and heals the damage.

What is this strength? You demon. The aura you are giving cannot belong to a human. I heard the rumours, i cannot believe that it really was true. How were you able to take so much power from that guy? Why did he choose you?

That power belongs to the devil himself, Lucifer the Morningstar.

You and your master is much bigger devil than my master lucifer ever was and ever will be. He didn't just gave me a small amount, he gave me as much as he could. I am the true servant of lucifer. Do not worry, we are inside this dimension you have created. It is also inside an island. No S rank can notice me using this power. 

You are crazy, what if some japanese s rank did come here? You might get caught and get eliminated by the angel authority.

Killing you is worth the risk, besides i have warned the government to not appoint any S rank while i am still working on the mission. Even if i get caught, i don't care. If that comes down to this then i will just join my master directly and stay in his higher dimension. Now now, didn't we have enough talk already? Let's settle this.

Basil realizes talking with him won't do any help, so he attacks john immediately after finishing his sentence. Basil goes near john and uses his sword directly at johns head. John does not give a damn s**t and catches the sword with his bare hand. John uses “Shadow claw" and breaks the sword of basil. Basil tries getting back but gets caught by john. John grows his shadow claw more and stabbes basil through the heart.

Basil has already lost the battle.

Even after all these years, i am still no match for you. What did i achieve in all these years, it is nothing. All i was able to achieve was darkness and lies. Why couldn't i beat you?

You are very very weak basil, considering all the powers you gained from the angels and stole from others. After you betrayed me, you let your past self go. You stopped believing in yourself, all you thought of was rely on others. You never trained, you never tried to boast your power on yourself. You started to learn more and more dark spells and absorbed eternals throughout the world, including innocent civilians. 

You are weak because you choose to be one. Saidy was the same, he tried beating me by absorbing his own students. The people like you are the same, no matter the age and era.

I know what i did was wrong but trust me, it wasn't just my idea. Lord diabolos wanted me to become the king, so i tried becoming one. I can see my past mistakes.

Basil drops few tears from his eye and starts crying.

“Maybe you could forgive me" basil asks calmly-

We can be together like we were back in those days, i can even become your servant if you want. I will repent for all the things i have done, so can you please forgive me?

Basil is stabbed once again by john, but this time john has used his own sword to do it.

I could never forgive bastards like you. You deserve what you will get right now. Every single person that you have absorbed throughout the years will burst out from your body. All the sufferings you have caused for people will also become your suffering. You will feel the pain of a million soul.

Every soul inside basils body starts coming out, basil is screaming out loud for help. Basil finally stops screaming when the last soul leaves his body. Basil also dies at the spot after losing all the power he has absorbed throughout the years.

Look at you now basil, you look s**t. You look like some rotten food now, that is your fate. You never were meant to be a king, you were fated to die like a dog. I pray to god that you will be able to repent in your afterlife. Goodbye old friend, our long rivalry has finally came to an end.

The temple starts breaking apart and john hides the devil power he brought out and takes basils body to exist.

John comes out of the zoo with the dead body of basil, proving his victory over him to all the ITF officers stationed outside.

Basil Lekapenos has been slain.
