The tournament of B-Rank starts!

I am getting better and better with the sword, it's good that there won't be any weapons used in round 1. I got to save it for later.

Hayashi has been continuesly training with his sword, trying his best to master it as much as he can.

Kosei: Hey Hayashi, master has called us. Oh my, you look so messy. Were you practicing cutting water? Huh, straight out of a movie.

The two goes into thee room where john has called them.

Hayashi: Hello master John, i started to feel as if you abandoned us in here. Huh, you finally came back.

John tzimiske: It's good to see you being in such a good shape. The first round will be held tomorrow morning. How prepared are you two? I wanted to give you guys some time alone, which would help you guys relax your minds a bit.

Hayashi: I don't know about kosei but I am in my best shape. I had a fight with one of the competitors , battling him helped me a lot. I was able to find my weakness.

Kosei: I am also in great shape, master. I mostly focused on my aiming at opponents, which i suck at. I have definitely improved a lot.

John tzimiske: Good good, that's what I wanted to know. There will be many strong people participating here, they are nothing like the average B rank opponents you fought in Japan. All of them are elite B rank eternal, they have trained directly under an S-rank eternal just like you two. Taking them lightly will be the last thing you would want to do. Forget about everything that happened in Japan, forget the fact that you were even able to beat a B-rank. See every single opponent of yours as a serious threat.

As far as I can tell, some of the B rank can even rival an A rank in this tournament.

Kosei: I can do that, I don't take anyone lightly. That's a bad habit, Hayashi recently got beaten up by some other B rank eternal in a duel. Maybe if he saw that guy seriously, he could have done better instead of just getting his ass kicked.

Hayashi: Ah come on, you don't have to say it like that.

John tzimiske: Huh, who beat him? Why didn't you tell me about this, Hayashi? I thought you would do well against anyone.

Hayashi: I thought you would get mad at me, I am so sorry for disappointing you. That guy started calling me stupid and such stuff, which is why I lost my temper a bit.

John tzimiske: No, why would I get mad at you? Tell me what kind of a duel was it, an all-out fight inside a training ground is not allowed.

Hayashi: That guy called himself Kaveh, he beat me on a wrestling match. I tried my beat, but I couldn't compete with him. I felt like he was predicting every single move of mine.

John tzimiske: Thank eosphoros it was just a wrestling match, don't get nervous around him during the first round. You will be able to use power energy blasts and create shockwaves. You will also have a huge battle arena, so no need to be afraid of him. You can beat him the next time you face him, but focus and train harder.

Kosei: What are the rules of the first round?

John tzimiske: It will be a royal rumble match, kosei.

Kosei: Royal Rumble? Like the WWE?

John tzimiske: No no, a bit similar. Every players will compete against each other at the same time. Total 99 players will be drafted into a battle ground, only 30 out of them will get qualified to the next round.

Hayashi: Does that mean we will be battling each other, like an all-out battle?

John tzimiske: Yes, but energy blasts are not allowed for the first round. You can use it in the next round but not this one. You also cannot kill or injure someone terribly. Like cutting someones hand or leg, stuff like that is fully banned. If you accidentally kill someone, then you will not only get disqualified from the tournament but you will also get banned for life. Kosei is even allowed to eliminate Hayashi if he wants, all man for themselves. Of course I don't want kosei or Hayashi to try eliminating each other.

You two should stay close to each other and help one another. Many players will try to become friends with each other before the match starts. You two will get targeted by others. Your friend soske will also be participating, try to get him on your team. The more friends you have, the better it is for round 1. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.

Hayashi: If that's how it is, then we have nothing to worry about.

Kosei: Me Hayashi and soske will team up and look each others back. We should be fine, won't we Hayashi?

Hayashi: Yes, we will. We are lucky to have soske with us, we have three people now.

John tzimiske: Don't get so overconfident or you might regret it later on. There are many groups just like yours, so be careful.

There might be many people who will target you guys in the competition. Those people might directly come at you and get you eliminated. So be careful and help out each other.

Now, get back to your beds and sleep well. Tomorrow is a big day.

The next day, the competition is finally about to start. Before round 1 starts, a huge fire show was held to entertain the audience. It is a huge Stadium with over 50 thousands audience, who came here from around the world. It is believed, almost 70% of all A rank eternals and many B rank eternals have came here to enjoy the show.

The giant horn starts playing in the morning.

The music can be heard throughout the whole city.

The stadium is fully packed with the audience. One by one the contestants start entering the arena. Kosei and his friends have also arrived in the arena.

I am Akuma kosei, this was my first step to get recognized by everyone throughout the world.

That day, I was so excited that I

even think of anything else except winning the competition. The cheering was heard from the crowd, it started to get more louder with each time passing by. I stood there proudly.

Many S- rank eternal have attended the ceremony.

Finally, the opening ceremony ends and the first round of the competition starts.

Hayashi: Hey kosei, look at those 3. They have been looking at us for a very long time now. They seem fishy, why don't we take them out first?

Kosei: Yeah sure, hey look. That krishna guy is over there, i can also see that tihsan guy. Wow, i hope they Don't attack us. If they do, we will he in great danger.

The bell has been rung, the first round of the competition has started.

Everyone starts fighting each other. Many players seem to have allied with one another and they have started to take out the other players.

Stronger people like Krishna are taking on more than one opponent at the same time.

Antonio and Santiago have teamed up and they have already eliminated 5 opponents.

Player 99, 65,54…..more than 12 players have been eliminated.

You 3 are teaming up? Don't you think that's unfair? Haha, that's why I have brought 5 of my homies to get you 3 eliminated. Others can thank us for doing it.

Kosei and his friends get attacked by a group consisting of 5 opponents.

Soske: 5? Hey get ready Hayashi and kosei, that's dangerous.

Hayashi: Calm down, do not get demotivated by them. They are weak, that's why they all have teamed up with each other. Don't get nervous soske, we got this.

The group of five surrounds kosei and his friends and starts attacking them.

With the speed of hayashi, Hayashi starts slamming his opponents and kosei is continuously creating small hand barriers to protect themselves.

One of the enemy tries kicking hayashi from behind but gets hit by a giant rock, thrown by soske from behind.

Soske has the special creation power, he can create rocks out of thin air and throw them at his opponents. It happens in a way which makes it look like he summoned them.

While Hayashi is fighting them head-on, kosei is also fighting them directly while protecting both himself and Hayashi from getting hurt badly.

Soske is continuously using his power and is throwing rocks at them.

Suddenly something happens and shocks them all.

Blood starts coming out of soske and he falls on the ground.

Soske: Arghhhh….what? What? I have been stabbed from behind?

Hayashi: Sooooosssske!

Soske has been stabbed from behind by a small hand sword.

Kosei: Why did you stab him? It's against the rules.

I don't care about the rules, I just want to kill you guys. Who cares about the A-rank status, I came here to help my homie. I am filthy rich back in my country, I don't need any stupid recognition or money.

Everyone gets stunned for a while, by seeing what the guy did.

Administrator: You are the first person in the last 3 tournaments to do that. What an i***t you are. Player 44 is disqualified for breaking the rules, leave the arena now or you will get terminated.

The injury is severe, Hayashi and kosei accepts the fate.

No, before soske could get disqualified for being so injured. Krishna appears in front of him and starts healing the damage done to him.

“Why? Why are you helping him out?" Hayashi asks.

Krishna: It is just unfair to him, I shall get going and start fighting others. You guys carry on.

Krishna has healed serious wounds and leaves. Soske is not fully healed, but he is able to continue competing on the round.

Soske is back on the ground and now it is 3 Vs 4.
