Emperor jummu

The Japanese royal family are also eternals but only their king is an S rank eternal who changes his appearance and personality every once in a century to make the normal civilians believe that he died. There are total 5 S rank eternals in japan but only the emperor Jimmu holds absolute power over the country both politically and militarily. The others like warrior monk sohei also has influence over the country but nowhere near as influential as emperor Jimmu.

In the royal palace of emperor Jimmu now referred to as naruhito, the royal guards were getting the meals ready to serve the emperor. They are pretty nervous today, unlike the other days. Something has been bothering them of something as they were staring at each other with their faces sweating.

As if trying to figure out what they should do. This might be one of the most important day for the country and its people but it was also the most terrifying day for the guards because they feared what would happen if they failed to obey their orders. One mistake can cost them their lives or worse -their souls.

It turns out that they are planning to kill the immortal emperor by putting some kind of poison which is capable of even killing an S rank eternal.

After all the preparation is done, everyone goes into the dining room and the food was already served onto the table and the servants began serving it to the emperor. At first the emperor didn’t notice that the foods looked weirdly different from usual. But when he did, he noticed how pale and lifeless the food looks compared to the usual tasty food served here. When the emperor realized that he could smell something strange coming from the food and he could hear whispers in the servants’ head saying something like “something’s off, something’s wrong!” when the emperor tried to touch it. He was able to stop himself just in time though. The emperor was too afraid to open his mouth lest his own soul flies out of him. After that, everything went silent around him and nobody dared to approach him since that had never happened before. Only when the emperor finally got used to the silence that the servants whispered in his mind again, “something’s wrong! Something really wrong! “ The emperor was confused as he didn’t understand what they meant but somehow he knew he must have been in trouble for this. So he waited patiently until someone would explain to him what the hell was going on and eventually one servant who looked more timid than the rest approached him. “Your Highness. Someone is trying to kill you by putting something in your food. I saw two of the maids talking and behaving weirdly. I think many people are behind it which is why i am not saying it loudly. Please do not eat the food. " The loyal servant tells the emperor and starts walking away before one of the royal family member stops him and starts interrogating him.

" I heard what you told to our king, how dare you lie like that? Do you have any proof of what you claimed ? HUH? You cannot just walk in accuse someone of doing something. We have doctors who check on lords food before serving it to him. Besides there is no poison in the world which can kill an S rank eternal. " The royal member calls the doctors in to check on the food and the arrive and starts examining the food and declares the food to be safe. The emperor laughs and asks the men why he did such a thing. The man insists that the food is poisoned despite the doctors proving him to be wrong. He gets punched and taken away by the guards. The royal member tells him to continue eating as the food was safe but the emperor gets lost in his thoughts. He was hesitating to eat and after everyone assures him that the food was safe. He asks the royal member to eat first and prove that food was safe. He gets afraid, " What? Why would you tell me to eat and prove it? What did i do? The doctors have already declared the food was safe, why would you listen to a peasant like that? Just eat the food and get over it. " He starts sweating and the emperor starts laughing.

I do not think you are the mastermind though, because the poison you put in my food is different, even the doctors could not detect it. I have never heard something like this before. You also do not have the guts to go against me, another S rank eternal must be behind it. It can not be mushashi or sohei as they are my old friends. Eventually i was saved by one of our men who fled the battle zone with me back in his horse. When we entered one of our neighboring village whom we had good relationship with, they welcomed us with open arms. My parents and most of our villagers were killed and some were taken as slaves. That era was truly brutal compared to today. I married the village chiefs daughter and sought out to conquer every small kingdoms in the country and after 40 entire years, i became the first ever emperor of japan who ruled the entire nation. Many people like you tried killing me over the thousand years i have lived, none of them were successful. Though it is the first time anyone from my own blood who tried killing me, which upsets me. I will make sure you get the proper punishment and be an example to others. I will also get rid of that bastard,l basil." the emperor starts laughing loudly and continues speaking once he realizes he no longer needs to hold in his laughter.

The maid was terrified but tried to hide her fear and tried to act brave.

Later he calls john and asks him if he will get rid of basil or he will have to step in, john laughed and told him to enjoy the show.
