The man turned to her, his expression shifting from puzzled to pleasantly surprised. “Yes, I’m looking for Emily. I’m Daniel, her brother. Is she around?”

Sarah's eyes lit up with recognition. “Oh, Emily’s mentioned you. She’s in the barn right now. I’m Sarah, by the way. It’s nice to meet you.”

Daniel extended his hand, shaking Sarah’s with a warm, genuine grip. “Nice to meet you, Sarah. Thanks for letting me know.”
