“A bear?” That was my guess, but I couldn’t help but add, “A sasquatch?” I tapped the charms on the oft-repaired leather thong around my neck, tempted to summon Damas to try to chase the creature down, but it had been at least a half mile away. The magic of his charm only allowed him to get a mile away from it before he snapped back to his own realm. If that furry critter could run quickly, it would be out of range before he could catch it.
