Seeing Liana's message made my heart skip a beat—and not in a good way.
A low, threatening growl rumbled in my throat. My breathing went heavy and hot.
Since I woke up, I'd barely felt Shadow, my wolf, but right now he was pacing frantically in my mind, ready to rip any potential rival to shreds.
I didn't even think before I started typing.
Z: "With who?"
Z: "Is it your ex? A man who breaks his vows isn't worth your time."
Liana replied almost instantly.
Liana: "Of course not! My family wants to set me up. They want me to settle down sooner rather than later."
As long as it wasn't that scumbag ex-boyfriend, fine.
But the thought of her out on a date with some other guy—or worse, being marked by another male...
