Elena's POV "I wore this gown when I went with Alpha Pheisar to a few private banquets with the Northern packs a few days ago. It gave me the best memories. Thank you, truly. I'm returning it now." My gaze slowly settled on the dress. I had sewn that gown for my own birthday. It took three whole months. Every stitch held my heart and a silent wish. I even specially chose iridescent silk so the dress would shimmer in varying shades of purple under different lights. But Selene only said she "wanted to try it on," and Pheisar took it without my permission. My stomach churned just looking at the satin. I didn't reach for it. Lyra inside me let out a groan of disgust. I looked at her calmly, my voice cold and distant. "I never agreed to lend it to you. But now, I don't want this dress."
