Chapter Twenty-Three Tyson cursed as he bent to examine his horse’s leg. After galloping through the woods, his horse threw a shoe when he tripped over a dip in the path. Tyson should have seen it coming, but he wasn’t paying attention. Edmund slid down from his horse. “Vérité would have jumped that on instinct.” Tyson straightened and turned away from the horse. “No, he would have sent you tumbling off just for the pure pleasure of it.” Tyson shook his head.
