Chapter 9

Ilang araw na ang nakalipas sa sagutan nila Veronica at Catriona, tila bay walang umiimik sa kanilang dalawa.

Simula nang matapos ang away nilang dalawa at pumasok ulit si Catriona sa kanyang trabaho, walang ni isa sa kanila ang nagsalita tungkol sa nangyari. Hindi niya ginalaw at hindi niya kinakausap si Catriona maliban nalang kung tungkol ito sa kumpanya. Kung may ipapa-pirma ba si Catriona sa kanya o magpapasa ng mga business proposal.

Nagtataka at naguguluhan si Catriona sa kinikilos ni Veronica pero napaisip siya na mabuti na lang at binigyan ni Veronica ng space ang isat isa at makakapag pokus siya sa trabaho niya bilang sekretarya

HABANG nakaupo siya sa kanyang opisina, napasulyap siya sa maliit niyang kalendaryo, dito nakalagay ang mga important meetings ni Veronica at ang mga events sa kumpanya

Napasulyap siya sa naka-petsa ngayong araw ng miyerkules, at nakalagay dun ang pagtagpo ng soon-to-be fiance ni Veronica. Kinuha niya ang kalendaryo at napaisip ng malalim.

"Siya na ba ang magiging susi ko sa pag alis sa pagkakagapos ni Veronica sa leeg ko?" Ani niya sa kanyang isipan. Malalim siyang napa-buntong hininga at pinag-siklob ang kanyang kamay sabay sinandal ang kanyang ulo sa headrest ng upuan

It was Wednesday, and the meeting between Veronica and her soon to be fiance, Wyatt Katz, is now started.

Veronica wore a white turtle neck with a puff, long sleeve, and ribbon that was placed to the collar. She matched the top with a black fitted skirt and black stilettos. She also wore a long black trench coat. She put light makeup to her face and red lipstick to match the outfit.

"It's pleasure to finally meet you, Ms. Veronica, " he said in a gentle voice, then held her hand and kissed it.

Wyatt has blonde hair and coloured emerald eyes. He wore a clean black suit and he had veiny hands too. His height was 6'6.

She chuckles softly and then speaks in a sweet, loving voice. "You too, sir Wyatt."

Wyat chuckles, then holds her hand gently and puts it to his arms. "You don't need to be formal, Ms. Veronica, you can call me Wyatt. "

Veronica admitted to herself that Wyatt is more handsome in person. However, Veronica knew that she didn't have feelings for him a bit. Kahit na mala-greek mythology ang kanyang kagwapuhan, hindi parin siya papatol, dahil alam nila sa isa't-isa na ang kasal na ito ay para lang sa kapangyarihan

"So, Veronica. How's your day as the CEO of your company?'' He asked with an interesting look on his face. Veronica held her wine glass and then drank the red wine.

"It was exhausting, signing some papers and having an endless meeting with the ambasadors. How about you? Lots of people gave outstanding feedback about your cooking. " Veronica looked at him with dazzled eyes and a sweet smile that curves to her lips. "I can't wait to taste your own dish, Chef Wyatt," She teased, then winked at him. Wyatt couldn't help but giggle, then shook his head.

"Since you want to taste my cooking, maybe I can cook for you. I want our first date to become memorable, " he said with a sweet, gentle voice as he began to fold up his sleeve up to his forearm

Veronica giggled, then put her chin in both of her hands and looked at him with interesting glare.

"Sure, I will be your food critic," She teased, then smiled seductively. Wyatt chuckles, then bow his head and kisses her hand gently.

"As you wish, Mi amor."

Wyatt starts to cook a delicious meal for her. Sinimulan niyang gisahin ang mga ingredients at inukit ang kamatis sa hugis bulaklak. Namangha si Veronica sa taglay na kahusayan ni Wyatt sa paghiwa at sa pagdisenyo sa pagkain. Hjndi niya mapigilang videohan ang ginagawa ni Wyatt dahil sa pagkamangha niya. At mas lalo siyang natuwa nang pinagsiklab niya ang kawali habang niluluto ang wangyu steak.

Nang matapos na siyang magluto ay inihain na niya ang putahe sa lamesa at inalalayan si Veronica sa pag-upo.

"Your cooking skills and plating look awesome! I can see why all the girls are drooling over you. " wyatt just chuckles and shakes his head in disbelief.

"I just wanted to show my cooking skills to the woman I will marry."

Veronica just chuckles and doesn't reply to him.

Wyatt suddenly held her hand and gently touched it.

"I promise I will treat you like a queen and cook for you. I want you to be happy and enjoy your life" kinuha ni wyatt ang nakatagong red box sa kanyang bulsa at dahan-dahang binuksan ito. Bumungad sa kanya ang sunrise ruby and diamond ring.

"Will you marry me? Veronica Hansley Raven."

Her eyes looked by the window, and she saw Catriona with someone else. It was Luke. Nagtataka siya kung bakit napadpad dito ang dalawa pero ang pagtataka ay napalitan ng galit nang makita niya kung gaano sila ka-affectionate sa isat-isa. They were laughing like there's no tomorrow, holding a vanilla sundae and eating it. Her blood boiled when she saw how comfortable and happy they were. How Luke wiped the ice cream to her cheeks and how Catriona was flustered by his touch. She chuckles in disbelief and forces herself not to get mad. Then, she has an idea.

"I will marry you, Wyatt." Veronica wrapped her hand around his nape and then pulled him in for a kiss. She even tasted the wine they recently drank. Feeling his soft lips makes her body crave even more.

Veronica opened her eyes, and she saw Catriona looking in her direction. Their eyes met, and she saw how shock Catriona was. She smirked while kissing Wyatt passionately.

"Go on, Catriona, cry for me, beg for forgiveness. This is your punishment and also be a lesson for you.....

Wyatt will never help you from making you my toy. Have fun with your lowly slut. You will came running for me and beg for forgiveness.

Because I own you Catriona.."

Pero mas lalong nagulat si Veronica nang gumuhit ang mahabang ngisi sa kanhang labi sabay pumalakpak at nagsalita si Catriona, hindi man niya marinig pero nabasa niya sa kanyang labi.

"Congratulations."

NATAPOS ang date nila Wyatt at Veronica. Pinagbuksan ni wyatt ng pinutan si Veronica at pumasok siya sa loob ng kanyang kotse.

"Thank you for today, Veronica."

Veronica draws sweet smile on her lips then lean in to her seat.

"It was fun meeting you, Wyatt"

"See you in anniversary event in my company. " She added. Wyatt nodded then close the door and the driver start the engine.

Habang nasa kotse ay nakita niya ang dalawa na nakaupo sa bench. Hindi niya mapigilan ang emosyon niya na mainis habang tinignan silang masayang nag uusap. Pumasok sa kanyang isipan ang ginawa ni Catriona kanina. Hindi niya mapigilang mapatawa dahil hindi niya ineexpect na ganun sng magigkng reaksyon ni Catriona.

"f**k it, I always find you more interesting, my pet."

However, her eyes seemed to focus on one person, it was Luke. He even wipe the vanilla on Catrionas cheeks that makes her flutter. Veronica grip her shirt tightly then bite her lower lip.

"She left me.... for that man.."

Veronica looked at them in rear door glass with piercing eyes as she kept her cold appearance. Glancing at them enjoying their talk and eating some ice cream. She felt adrenaline shot through her veins. She put her hand to her chin and spoke coldly.

"Interesting.."

PAGOD AT bagsak ang katawan ni Catriona sa kanyang sofa nang nakauwi na siya sa kanyang Penthouse. Malalim siyang napabuntong hininga at hinilot ang kanyang sentido.

Pagkatapos kasi ng kanilang break sa kumpanya ay dumeretso ang marketing department sa isang studio upang makapgpraktis ng sayaw. Iilan lang ang sasayaw sa kanila para sa anniversary ng kumpanya. At mas lalo siyang napagod dahil may pahabol pa silang solo na sasayawin daw niya 'kuno sa harapan bago gawin ang dance ending.

Dahan-dahan niyang minasahe ang kanyang bewang at nilapag ang kanyang paa sa lamesa sabay sinandal ang kanyang ulo sa sofa.

"Hindi pa pala ako nakakapag-hire ng katulong dito." Aniya at tumingin sa paligid. Nagpapasalamat siya dahil nakabili siya ng mamahaling Penthouse sa tulong ni Veronica pero iba parin ang pakiramdam kapag kasama mo ang mahal sa buhay.

"Ang lungkot pala na mag-isa ka lang sa sarili mong bahay."

Pinikit niya ang kanyang mga mata at dinama ang lamig ng aircon na tumatama sa kanyang balat. Pumasok sa kanyang isipan ang kanyang Ina na masigla at masayang yinayakap si Catriona. Hindi niya mapigilang mapangiti at matawa ng mahina.

"Sana gumaling ka na mama, para ma-experience mo itong lahat"

Just she was about to lay on sofa, she heard the doorbell in her door.she groans in frustration sabay padabog na tumayo at naglakad papunta sa pinto. Veronica laughs in disbelief, then crosses her arms and looks at her with menacing in her eyes. "What? Am I not allowed to visit my plaything? Hmm?" Hinawakan ni Veronica ang kamay na nakaharang sa pintuan sabay lumapit at bumulong sa kanyang tenga. "Don't forget that I'm still your boss." Sabay inalis ang pagkakaharang sa pintuan.

Veronica place a bottle of wine in glass table then sat into the sofa and then crossed her arms and knees.

"I didn't expect to see you there together with your pet" malamig na sambit nito at diniin and pagkabigkas sa dulo.

"He has name Veronica, and he's one of your workers in your company. Without his knowledge and skills hindi lalago ang company mo." Reply niya. However, Veronica starts to laugh and that makes Catrionas blood boil.

Veronica wipe her fake tears then stand up and stop infront of her.

"Is he the CEO Catriona? I don't care about his knowledge and skills, kaya ko siyang palitan. At tsaka, nakalimutan mo na ata ang kontrata natin" her hand slowly explore catrionas neck and then starts to trace her collarbone. Catriona hold her hand tightly then pull her forward. She can even smell the fainted scent of Alcohol in her mouth. Went down to Veronica lips. It was reddish and he felt tempting to bite and suck it. Pero tinanggal niya iyon sa kanyang isipan at bumalik sa reyalidad.

"What? Are you jealous of him? Because he has a 'thing' that you don't have?" She replied in cold tone. Imbis na magalit or mairita si Veronica sa kanya ay natigilan siya nang biglang humalakhak ng tawa si Catriona.

"I like how bold you are, Catriona!" Binawi nito ang kanyang kamay sa pagkakahawak at nang natapos na siya sa kakatawa ay humarap siya muli kay Catriona. Dahan-dahang naglakad si Veronica papalapit sa kanya at dahan-dahang umatras si Catriona. Pero napatigil siya nang maramdaman ang malamig na pader sa kanyang likuran. Napamura si Catriona sa kanyang isipan pero huli na para makatakas.

Veronica glare at her, with jealousy and hunger. As if she wants to devour her.

"Yes, I'm jealous on how the way you look at him, the way you smile at him, the way you touch him." Her fingers gently move to catrionas neck up to her chin. Using her thumb, she gently move it. Her thumb reach catrionas pink lips. She felt the softness of her lips and the way her saliva wen to her thumb makes her body burned. Veronica was tempted to f**k her hard but she has a plan. Veronica slid her thumb inside of catrionas mouth then play with her tongue. Her thumb are now covered with catriona saliva but she didn't mind and continue to play with her tongue then next her teeth.

Meanwhile catriona didn't like this affection and felt disgusted. She bite Veronica's thumb hard. She was expecting to received a slap or anything but when their eyes met. She saw her eyes filled with lust and hunger. She didn't even feel pain at all! Veronica felt pleasure!

Catrion let go of Veronicas thumb then she was shocked when she didn't expect Veronica sucking the thumb that she inserted in her mouth, licking her saliva. Catrionas bite mark left in her skin bug Veronica didn't mind it.

"However, I realise that you're still mine. And no one else can have you because you're still on my possession. Remember that, doll."

Veronica turned her back then took the wine then raise it. "I want to drink with you, Veronica. To congratulate me on my engagement. I know how you felt thrilled when you saw me accepting this marriage" Veronica went to the bar stall then take two wine glass.

"I'm not drinking that."

"Why? I thought your happy with my engagment?" Tanong nito habang nagsasalin ng wine sa baso.

"Because I don't trust you."

Her eyebrow furrowed and then Veronica start to chuckles. "What am I? A pyscho? I'm not that cruel."

Inabot ni Veronica sa kanya ang wine glass at tinanggap naman ito ni Catriona. Inangat ni Veronica ang kanyang baso sabay nagsalita.

"Cheers for me." She said cheerfully then drank it. Catriona look at her suspiciously and when the glass are now empty. She wait for another minutes to see if theres a drug mixed to the wine. And then, she realized Veronica seemed to be normal.

"See? The wine doesn't have a drug. You can drink that wine freely." Aniya. Nag aalinlangan parin na inumin ni Catriona ang wine pero nang makita niyang normal naman si Veronica ay ininom na niya ito.

Ilang minuto pagkatapos niyang inumin ay wala siyang maramdaman pero nang nagsimula siyang maglakad ay nakaramdam siya ng pagkahilo at kakaiba.Napatigil si Catriona nang makaramdam siya ng pag init sa kanyang katawan.

"W-what did you just do, Veronica! Anong hinalo mo sa wine!" Singhap niya sabay tumakbo ng mabilis papunta sa kitchen at kumuha ng tubig. Pero kahit ano karami ang pag inom niya, hindi nawawala ang init sa katawan niya.

"I forgot to tell you darling, its pheromone wine. It will trigger your sensitive parts and make you feel more hunger for lust and pleasure."

Veronica stopped in front of her and then held her chin tightly.

"This is the beginning of your punishment for seducing a man." She said in a seductive tone, then bite catrionas earlobe. Catriona push her away then went to her room. Makaramdam siya ng panghihina at halong init sa kanyang katawan.

MEANWHILE Luke was getting outside on his car then look at his phone again. Nagtataka siya dahil nakatanggap siya ng message ni Catriona, saying that she needs him. Nakaramdam siya ng pag-alala na baka may nangyari sa kanya. Pero hindi siya makapaniwala dahil sa Penthouse na nasa harapan niya. Ayon kasi ang nakalagay sa address na binigay ni Catriona sa kanya.

"Tama ba talaga tong sinend niya? Hindi parin ako makapaniwala na dito siya nakatira." Aniya sa kanyang sarili. Umiling-iling siya at tinanggal ang mga tanong na bumabagabal sa kanyang isipan sabay dahan-dahang pumasok sa Gate mg Penthouse ni Catriona.
