"Dad?

" My sweet little princess" Robert Hathaway's deep voice said from the phone. " It's been awhile, my dear"

"I've been so busy these days Dad" Ariel explained " Schedule's been so tight that I didn't have the time to call you. I'm sorry"

"I understand" He told her " That's why I had to call you myself. I hope you are doing well?"

"Yes Dad" She smiled happily " Hopefully I'll be performing in few shows this week"

"You need any money or wanna do a little shopping? " He asked her

" It's alright, Dad I'll be fine" She assured him

" You're sure? "

" Yeah" Chelsea pinched her in disagreement. Ariel shook her head understanding the message she was to pass

"Umm.. Ariel?"

"Yes Dad?"

"You're going to have a new mother very soon and a sister too" He informed her.

" Huh? ... "

" I'm sorry for not telling you about this earlier but-"

" It's okay. Dad. You really need someone in your life. I can't wait to see my stepsister" She chuckled

" She's also cute like you" Her Dad whispered in excitement

They both laughed. While she was still chatting with her dad about the few exciting things she's seen,

The man dressed in black kept his look at the lady that served him the espresso earlier. Adrian excused himself to use the restroom.

At first he wasn't interested on going out. If Adrian hadn't taken him out to get some fresh air he would have been indoors. Adrian insisted on getting some fresh air, taking him along.

The lady that attended to him caught his attention that he couldn't hide fact that he stared at her.

He found a dark mole on her left wrist while she served. He has seen someone that has the same spot on the same wrist in an incident that occurred some years back.

He isn't sure about what else drew his attention to her but he's sure there's something that he might want from her. Answers to the questions in his head right now is what he needed.

He realized that she has stopped working and was on a phone call which was taking time.

"You must have interests in that girl" Adrian pointed to Ariel . He didn't notice when Adrian came back to join him at the table

Damien shook his head.

" I caught you staring at her since we entered this restaurant" He whined

" Adrian." The dark look on Damien's face returned. "How many days do have left, before going back to Coastal city?"

"A week"

" Tell the Owner of this restaurant that She should ensure that she employ diligent workers not the chitty chatty ones over there" he pointed to Ariel and Chelsea who sat in a corner chatting.

He stood up and left the restaurant. Adrian did as he was told and also left the restaurant running to catch-up with Damien

Ariel and Chelsea were still chatting when they heard a loud bang on the table beside them.

"One more warning from me then you're fired!" Their Boss fumed angrily. " You just chased my new customers away with your negative attitude to work! " She pointed out to The two men leaving the restaurant hurriedly.

"We're sorry Boss" They begged

"Last warning!. I repeat last warning" She said and left.

Ariel sighed heavily.

" I was scared, thinking we're done working here" Chelsea placed her left hand on her chest to feel her heart still pounding.

"Let's get back to work We'll talk more when we get back home" Ariel told her dragging her along to gets trays for Orders

They got home safe and sound. Chelsea locked the door of their apartment and settled on the sofa. The restaurant job was the last and the only job they did together, everyday. Chelsea's phone beeped. She checked to see a new notification from her email address.

She covered her mouth the awe.

"Chels?" Ariel called. wanting to know why she looked so surprised.

"I told you!" She exclaimed. "Justin kept his promises"

"I don't get?"

" We're going to perform in two weeks from now"

They screamed happily, holding their hands together.

Being singers for some years now they've only been allowed to perform in four shows. Since then, they've been trying hard to be on at least a show this year. This news is like they've won millions of dollars. This upcoming performance will determine their stand in the music world because many celebrities will be there.

Their chants and screams filled the house.....

It's going to be a long night
