The whole investigation felt like a detective story, and guess who was the suspect? Yep, that was Sienna. They were digging into every tiny detail, looking for some proof that she was guilty.
Sienna always thought that if anyone found out she’d entered the office, Dominic’s investigation would just be a quick check. But nope, she didn’t expect him to go full-on Sherlock Holmes on her.
Sienna, exhausted and defeated by the entire situation, just collapsed, her energy completely drained.
Josh, who was already struggling, was hit even harder. "Wait, you really did this? Why? Why would you?" he asked, his eyes practically popping out of his head as he grabbed Sienna’s arm. He was completely freaking out.
Gerald, embarrassed by his son’s reaction, pulled Josh away. "Come on, what else could it be? She’s jealous and wants to take Mrs. Blake’s place."
Josh stood there for a second, blinking. "Wait... are you saying she’s in love with Dominic? No, that can’t be true!"
Gerald felt a migraine coming on. Seriously? My son is completely clueless. Everyone else can see it, but not him.
Aria, who was also getting tired of Josh’s cluelessness, rolled her eyes. "Yeah, he's totally blind. He's all in for Ms. Blake, but he doesn’t even notice that Ms. Blake has a thing for Dominic."
Sienna’s ears perked up when she heard that, and she glanced at Dominic. His face, usually all cool and collected, suddenly showed a flicker of surprise.
"What?" he thought to himself. "Did Aria just say that? Did she really think Ms. Blake likes me? She’s got to be messing with me."
Now Dominic was starting to feel awkward, and his face heated up as his expression faltered. "Wait, hold on a second. I thought this was just a simple case of someone bribing Ms. Blake to steal company secrets and blaming Aria. Ms. Blake’s in love with me? How is that even possible?"
Sienna, panicking, quickly tried to defend herself. "No, no, it’s not like that! I did all of this, yes, but not for those reasons! I did it all for Charlotte!" she cried, desperately looking at Dominic.
And then, silence. Complete and utter silence.
Charlotte was Dominic’s first love, and Sienna just dropped that bombshell like it was nothing.
Dominic’s eyes widened. "What did you just say?"
Sienna took a deep breath, her voice barely above a whisper. "Charlotte... she’s coming home."
Dominic was now staring at her like she’d just revealed the secret to the universe.
"Charlotte," Aria said, looking a little too excited. "She’s the one who broke Dominic’s heart years ago. They were the perfect couple, the dream team, and then she just... vanished. I can’t believe Charlotte is back."
Dominic was now looking between Aria and Sienna, confused. How did she know all of this?
Aria was just as confused as Dominic, though. "What does Charlotte have to do with any of this?" she thought.
Dominic, trying to make sense of it all, turned to Sienna, looking more serious than ever. "Hold on, what does Charlotte have to do with any of your actions?"
Sienna, clutching at whatever hope she had left, blurted out, "Charlotte and I are best friends. She was forced to leave you. I didn’t want the two of you to miss out on love because of a stupid misunderstanding. I know you wouldn’t just divorce without a good reason, so I was trying to play the villain, hoping I could create a chance for you and Charlotte to be together."
She paused dramatically, lowering her head like she was carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. As if she had no other choice but to be the bad guy.
Now, everyone was a little taken aback. It was a surprising turn of events. But let’s be real, not many of them believed Sienna’s story. It was too obvious that Sienna had feelings for Dominic.
But wait, it turns out Sienna was actually Charlotte’s best friend. That was news to everyone, including Dominic.
"Hold up," Aria whispered, her eyes lighting up. "This is better than any gossip I've ever heard! So Dominic’s first love is coming back, and the breakup was a misunderstanding? Whoa."
Everyone was looking at Dominic now, waiting for him to spill the tea. Would he confirm it? Would he spill the secrets about him and Charlotte? The tension was high.
But Aria wasn’t buying it. "Come on, seriously? A misunderstanding? Please, that sounds way too fishy to be real."
Dominic quickly jumped in to stop Aria from going off on another tangent. "Sienna," he said coldly, "you caused a massive loss to the company just for your selfish reasons. There’s no excuse for what you did."
But Aria, distracted by the drama, couldn’t help herself. "Yeah, she’s totally lying. But why would she even come up with this story? I think I know... She’s been trying to make everyone believe she had something going on with Dominic. I bet she was planning to push me out and win his heart. But with Charlotte coming back, she had to act fast. So now she’s pretending to be the villain, saying she did it all for Charlotte’s sake, hoping Dominic will be lenient. But guess what? That’s not gonna work. Dominic won’t buy it."
Dominic, who’d been so close to believing her story, now felt embarrassed. "Wait a minute... is that what she was really trying to do?" He remembered how Sienna would always drive Aria crazy whenever she visited him. Playing the victim, making Aria mad—it all made sense now.
Before, he always thought Aria was too hot-headed. But now, he felt guilty and angry at Sienna for manipulating him.
Dominic wasn’t even interested in figuring out Sienna’s motives anymore. "Call the police," he said flatly.
Sienna’s world just shattered. "Dominic, you don’t understand—"
"Whatever you need to say, you can say it to the police," Dominic interrupted.
Sienna was absolutely stunned, but Dominic was completely serious. And everyone else in the room was a little stunned, too. This was the harshest action Dominic could have taken.
Sienna, nearly losing it, lunged toward Dominic but missed. "You’ve always been kind to her, so why treat me this way?" she shouted, pointing at Aria. "I’ve worked for you for ten years, and this is how you repay me?"
Dominic finally looked at her. "That’s because you’re not my wife," he said, his voice cold.
Ouch. That stung.
Sienna froze, completely speechless.
Soon enough, the police arrived to take care of the situation, and Sienna, along with everyone involved, was escorted away. But Josh—bless his heart—still tried to take the blame for Sienna. He genuinely believed her lie and was trying to be her knight in shining armor. Gerald, his dad, nearly passed out from frustration.
Luckily, the evidence was clear as day, and Josh’s attempts to protect Sienna were useless.
But Sienna had one final parting shot at Aria: "Dominic will divorce you as soon as Charlotte comes back. Don’t get too comfortable."
Aria just smirked. "Oh really? Well, I hope she hurries up!"
Sienna, now facing the harsh reality of her actions, screamed in frustration. "You’ll regret this, Dominic! Once Charlotte gets here, you’ll see!"
But Aria, unbothered, just laughed. "Can’t wait to meet her. Maybe we can have a nice chat. But, in the meantime, I’m not going anywhere."
