Christina's pov I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at the faint patterns the just-rising sunlight made on the tile floors and walls as it filtered through my heavy curtains. Sleep had been elusive through the night, only catching a few hours of tossing and turning. Finally, I decided I couldn't take it any longer, and I decided to stay up instead.
